Boom Boom

Silly danceable electronic music for babyfurs/ABDLs.

The tracks on this mini-album were all made and performed live on a Korg Volca Sample. A GoXLR Mini received the audio output, then it was recorded using Audacity where the tracks were edited down for length – plus adding the singing on "Baby Smell", which was recorded on mobile phone using a Mirfak MVK01 vlog kit microphone.

Part of the fun of the Korg Volca Sample is that it's paws-on and DAW-less. (DAW being short for Digital Audio Workstation.) Each performance feels unique and organic, even if the template of the track is the same. Plus, turning knobs and pushing buttons is an inherently fun – and cub-ish – activity.

It does have limitations compared to more carefully constructing tracks in a DAW, as you can't easily go back to make fixes or tweaks. But limitations can help spark creativity and experimentation.

The tracks include samples of real diaper sounds taken from the Sounds From the Big Boy Nursery sound pack. Including crinkling, spanks, and usage. Some sounds have been edited to such an extent that they may be unrecognizable. Others... less so.

I love the idea of people nodding along or shaking their rumps to silly tunes made using diaper sounds, or to vocal samples about diapers, or to sung lyrics about it.

This silly music was a lot of fun to make, and I hope you enjoy it. ❤️
